Custom engagement rings · Chicago

A Chicago ring with one owner.

Second-generation custom jewelers in the Loop. We design and make engagement rings for one person at a time: sketch, CAD, approval, bench, all here in Chicago.

Why custom, why here

Designed in the Loop, not picked from a case.

Chicago has no shortage of places to buy an engagement ring. It has very few where the person across the table is both a formally trained designer and a GIA Graduate Gemologist, and where the ring is drawn, rendered, and finished for one specific person. That is the difference between shopping and designing.

Our studio is at 8 S. Michigan Avenue in the Loop, one block from Millennium Park. Consultations are private, complimentary, and unhurried: bring a photo, a budget, or nothing but the idea.

Common questions

Asked in almost every consultation.

How long does a custom engagement ring take?

Most projects run four to eight weeks from approved design. If you have a proposal date, tell us up front and we will be straight with you about what is possible.

What budget do I need for a custom ring?

Custom work spans a wide range, and the design is shaped around the budget rather than the other way around. Bring a number and Andrea will show you honestly what it buys, including where a lab-grown stone stretches it further.

Can we do this without visiting the studio?

Yes. Consultations run in person on Michigan Avenue or virtually, and clients have designed complete rings from photographs and video calls. Seeing stones in person is worth a visit if you can make one.

The answer to everything else is a conversation. Start yours.
